: The system is installed in an equipment room, which can be built in-ground (using prefab polyester vaults next to the pool) or above ground (inside a shed or nearby structure). Above-ground setups are much easier to maintain and better protect your investment, as the lower moisture environment ensures a longer equipment lifespan.
For a standard residential skimmer pool, the minimum space required is around 2 to 3 square meters (e.g., 1.5m x 1.5m). However, if you plan to install additional features like a pool heating system, smart automation, or counter-current swim jets, we highly recommend planning for a larger space (3 to 5 square meters). Overflow pools require significantly more room to accommodate the balance tank. It is crucial to ensure the room has adequate dimensions and height for easy service access and maintenance.
The final equipment setup inside the plant room typically takes 2 to 4 working days, depending on the system's complexity (such as adding smart automation or a heat pump). Please note that preparatory work and rough-in pipework around the pool shell are completed during the earlier stages of construction.
